Process:
First, we speak with the owner of the property to inquire about any water or moisture damage. After that, we do a meticulous walkthrough of the entire property. The walkthrough includes a moisture reading of any suspect areas, air quality inspections, surface inspections, and bulk sample tests.
Services Breakdown
Visual Inspection
Our purpose during this visual walkthrough is to identify any water/moisture damage and any presence of mold. During the visual walkthrough, we also do a moisture reading and the services listed below.
Moisture Reading
Mold needs moisture to grow, so this tool aids us in finding any potential mold contamination. We use calibrated equipment to find areas on the property that contains higher than normal moisture levels. This tool is vital because mold multiplies when the right conditions are met.
Air Quality Inspection
We test the air in the property to ensure the levels are within normal. We take a sample from the outside air as a baseline. Assessing the air can tell us the mold severity within the property and how much this can affect the people residing on the property. We send the air samples to a lab for evaluation. The lab will tell us what kind of mold is on the property and how much. Once remediation is done, we retake air samples to make sure all the mold was extracted.
Surface Inspection
Our certified mold inspector will also take samples from moldy surfaces. This is done to evaluate the type of mold growth.
Bulk Sample
We do a bulk sample when we have found any growth on certain materials. Our inspector will take a piece of mold and send it to the lab for testing.
